Eric Trygstad

Coach Eric was a high school Varsity volleyball head coach for 14 years between time in South Dakota and Minnesota. He also has many years coaching at and leading JO programs including SF West JO, Canton (SD) and Northern Impact. He has been coaching at Northern Impact since (2015). In addition to coaching the 17-Black team this year, Coach Eric is on the NIVB Board of Directors.

His philosophy is to meet the students where they are and help them develop into that which they wish to become by stressing strong fundamentals, being proactive on the court, understanding the game at a high level and being confident by being placed in positions to have athletic success. Woven through all that is a high, positive energy and a desire to share his love of the game.
